Just read off gm news that sources claim it will be called VE Series II not VF. There will be revised cosmetics, light clusters, fascias. Mechanical and structural optimisation 'tweaks' rather than total reworks to the engines. The new model will showcase improvements to the driver information interface, with a new col...our touchscreen which will be "awesome" but still simple to use and updated dash arrangement . And of course new hero colours, as well as E85 engines bringing reduced economy & engine tuning to. The article was dated on the 20th of May & the last sentence states 50 days to go till the Media briefings and Drive Events for VE Series II which makes it July 8th. Fingers-crossed

I can confirm from inside sources at Holden that the next commodore model will be the VE Series II. I think that they have put in so much money in the VE development that they want to keep it going as long as possibly, similar to the way that Mercedes and BMW hold on to their models for around 7 years or so. Half way through the model they come up with a slightly different update and this is where the VE Series II will fit in.
