Interior Style

What sort of interior changes do you reckon will happen?

I really hope they change the handbrake/centre console area, I'm not the biggest fan of it right now :/

It would be good if they did the cup holders like they did them in the monaro how they pop out next to the headunit and flip out

like it goes like this---

I love the look of the new interior I can see the commodore is keep better by its looks my favourite commodore is the sv6 and I thinks holdens should use the same interior from the ss for the sv6 I think it would look more attractive this is what I mean

The VF interior will not look like this. Sports models will have two BIG round vents on the dash.

Ubeta, where do you reckon the "BIG round vents" would go? I just can't picture it in my head

The "BIG round vents" will go in the centre of dash.

Other info I read at LS1 is that there will be no more Statesman there will be Caprice and Caprice V.Front lights and facia will be different.New wheels and trim and E85 Compatible motors. So it seems that the Interior will be the biggest change.

Ah fair enough. Yeah, I read somewhere too that it's just going to be Caprice and Caprice-V... the end of the Statesman.

Okay... so I saw the vents you're talking about... and to be honest they look like absolute shit :/

the foot rest pedal is way to big and looks ugly

They do look a little odd.

Let hope they look better in real life.

If they go the large round vents, then they must go the round vents all over the car. How stupid would it look round centre vents, then the traditional side and rear vents ?.

Question is why is there a Pontiac badge on the steering wheel on the new photos when there is no Pontiac and the fact that the car is left hand drive mean there is definately a new model going to the US from Australia?

As far as I'm aware the spy shots were taken in Oakleigh, Melbourne and they were the guts inside a Pontiac G8.

Now the Pontiac brand is being phased out and their G8 model has already been dropped from production. So Holden is probably just using the G8 shells to test new interiors so as not to attract attention to themselves.

Take a look at the Interior page under the Pictures menu heading to see a concept we've whipped up as a RHD version.

If i can get one looking like the tiger orange in that concept shot. I will def be upgrading to this car!!!
